Sleepy Bee Cafe

Wow! The first time I tried this place it was awesome!!! The worker bee is very delicious. The eggs have been cooked well, my bacon has been cooked the way I requested, & if u have a chance, absolutely try the red skin potatoes w/ the honey garlic sauce!!!! Other than having the worker bee, I have also tried the buttermilk blueberry pancakes, and the blueberries inside the pancakes were perfect!

They have a couple vegan options on the menu, though sadly, pancakes are not one of them. I ordered a tofu/veggie scramble, which came with a side, I chose fruit. This was delicious. Moist, not soggy or dried out. Every bite was delightful. They were a bit busy, so we had a couple moments where we were looking for our server, and did not have to wait long at all for anything we needed. I will definitely come back, especially if I'm told they have vegan crepes or pancakes.

Very nice place, very good food. Employees were super nice and seemed to know regulars. Would definitely go again if I visit Cincinnati again!

Very busy. We put our name in for a 25 minute wait, but were seated in 10 minutes. Service very good. Menu a bit out of my league, as I’m a meat and potatoes guy. Had 2 buttermilk pancakes, side of bacon, coffee. All very delicious. Wait staff polite. Locally sourced foods. Highly recommend.

Parking is a hassle and you are limited to a few spots on the road. We went there for brunch and had veggie sandwich / chicken salad sandwich. Veggie sandwich was fantastic. The smoothies was well made. The place was nice and clean.

Sleepy bee is definitely worth the wait. I recommend using the wait-list feature of Yelp to get in line and arrive close to when a table will be ready. Our kids loved coloring on the chalkboard table while we waited and enjoyed their delicious pancakes. My wife and I both had tasty mimosas. The Avi omelette was great and the sides were good. Service was excellent.

Mayan Mocha!!! Wow...idk why I've been holding out on crimson cup for so long. I've definitely had it before but usually at other vendors and not an actual crimson cup store. The clintonville location is very chill. The staff was friendly and fast. I went pretty early like around 7am and the place was pretty steady. I'm sure a lot of folks stop by for their early morning fix.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I love all of their food. You feel healthy about it but are also treating yourself. I always have to get their beecake pancakes (they are gluten-free, but I order them because I love how they taste). They have great vegetarian options (including switching out tofu for eggs for vegan options). They always have an incredible seasonal pancake that you can get a full order of or ask for it as a side. They also always have other seasonal options that are always incredible and usually what I opt for ordering. You do usually have to wait for a table for brunch on the weekends because it is a popular spot, but it is so worth it.
